For hundreds of years, a Sommelier (saw-muh-LYAY) was the person responsible for cellaring and serving wines to royalty and country dignitaries. Eventually, with the explosive growth in popularity of wine, the tradition of the Sommelier extended to restaurants and serving establishments. Although originally derived from the French word-meaning butler, a Sommelier is a distinguished wine connoisseur who has extensive knowledge of wines and their suitability with various foods.

Our Sommelier wine collection not only honours the knowledge of the Master Sommelier, it also distinguishes itself from any other wine kit in the world. These are the top wines within their kit category and although the commercial wine world has yet to allow us to enter our wines in their competitions, we have had accolades from Master Sommeliers and Judges around the world.

• Reserve Chardonnay: Pleasantly rich and buttery this dry white displays crisp green apple and Asian pear notes with delightful lemon flavours interlaced with toasty oak. Region of Origin: California
• Australian Reserve Chardonnay: This is a rich and opulent dry white with flavours of peach, fig and melon. The finish is balanced with lingering notes of toast and vanilla. Region of Origin: Australia
• Sauvignon Blanc: Very pale grassy yellow tone with bright pea pod and characteristic lemon-grass aroma. Very dry and full-bodied. Region of Origin: California

• Piesporter: Fresh honeydew cantaloupe and juicy mangos bring forth a slight spicy fruit flavour as peaches and orchard fruit complement herbal accents. Finished smooth and soft. Region of Origin: California
